Florence Coke runs a Caribbean takeaway in Stockport, where she offers free meals for the needy. She has been inspired by her parents' tradition of helping the poor in Jamaica. During the COVID-19 crisis, she continued to feed struggling families with free meals and food parcels. Recently, she was recognized with a Local Hero award for her community service efforts.
