Abura Dunkwa and its surrounding communities within the Abura-Asebu-Kwamankese constituency are set to benefit from improved educational facilities. To this effect, MP Felix Kwakye Ofosu carried out a sod-cutting ceremony at Abura Dunkwa, marking the beginning of the construction of classroom blocks, offices, and store rooms. The project is expected to replace dilapidated classrooms, such as those under trees, with modern structures that provide a conducive learning environment.

Together with District Chief Executive Daniel Mensah Wardy, the MP inaugurated a three-unit classroom block, office, and store at Obenkrom, as well as a two-unit classroom block featuring similar amenities in Kwesi Amaa. Additionally, the Moree community in the constituency will soon witness the construction of a phase-two 12-unit classroom block, along with a two-unit classroom block, office space, store, and ancillary facilities at Korado.

Groundbreaking ceremonies were also held for health-related projects, including Community Health Planning and Services Compounds at New Ebu and Katakyiase, as well as an accommodation and mechanized borehole project. MP Kwakye Ofosu, during a media tour, acknowledged that several schools in the constituency were still operating under trees, a situation he deemed detrimental to quality education.

He emphasized that the provision of modern infrastructure is crucial in bridging the educational gap in rural communities of AAK.
