On Thursday, social media sensation Sneaker Nyame took over the co-host role alongside Jerry Justice on Adom FM's Ofie Kwanso programme. This marks the Influencer Africa's 'Influencer Takeover' segment, a collaboration to merge new media and traditional broadcasting.
Sneaker Nyame, who has been a fan of Jerry Justice since his childhood, described the experience as a privilege. He brought a fresh, entertaining 30-minute segment to the show, demonstrating his console skills and presenting a mix of engaging entertainment with carefully selected music.
The takeover, powered by Influencer Africa, offered listeners a different perspective of the popular programme. This initiative aims to create a platform where prominent social media influencers, content creators, and entertainment personalities can connect with wider audiences while introducing established media platforms to fresh voices and perspectives.
The collaboration between Influencer Africa and Multimedia Group Limited (MGL) underscores the growing relationship between Ghana's digital entertainment scene and mainstream media.
