George Karlaftis quotes a classic Disney movie in a message to players
During Wednesday's press conference, Kansas City Chiefs DL George Karlaftis quoted a classic Disney movie in a message to his teammates | @EdEastonJr
Chiefs defensive lineman George Karlaftis addressed reporters on Wednesday, drawing inspiration from the Disney classic Finding Nemo to motivate his younger teammates through the season's uncertainties. He emphasized that even first-round picks face difficulties, as he himself did not secure his first sack until after Thanksgiving.
Karlaftis recounted that during both pre-season and in-season conversations, he reminded players to persevere through ebb and flow, doubting themselves, and experiencing moments of self-doubt. He stressed the importance of producing results, as seen in his recent performance, which included two tackles, three passes defended, one tackle-for-loss, one quarterback hit, one forced fumble, and a sack against the Denver Broncos.
Karlaftis attributed his success to continuously improving and finding small details in his game, which ultimately led to his league-leading seven pass defensed and two sacks for the year.
