Ex-NFL Star Stiff-Arms ‘Upsetting’ Claims He’s Affiliated With Turning Point USA
“It’s disappointing to see an innocent moment stripped of context and turned into clickbait,” retired New England Patriots player Rob Gronkowski wrote.
Retired NFL star Rob Gronkowski vigorously denied allegations that he is associated with the right-wing advocacy group Turning Point USA. The claim arose after images surfaced of the former New England Patriots player posing for photos ahead of the midterm elections. Gronkowski, via a statement on his Instagram account, firmly stated that he is neither endorsed nor affiliated with Turning Point USA.
While Gronkowski attends to voter engagement, he called out the "upsetting" and "eye-opening" narratives surrounding his visit to New Hampshire on election day. The former football champion emphasized the importance of voting regardless of one's political party affiliation.
