Dongfeng Sees Huge Demand for Its Trucks in Pakistan

Dongfeng experienced an unprecedented surge in demand for its heavy-duty trucks in Pakistan, generating approximately Rs. 17.8 billion in sales during fiscal year 26, according to Topline Securities. This accounted for roughly 27% of the country's heavy commercial vehicle market. The brand's revenue was primarily driven by these robust vehicles, with its DFAC light commercial vehicles contributing another Rs. 1.3 billion in sales for the year.

In the light commercial vehicle segment, JAC and DFAC together held approximately 21% of the market, as stated by the company's management. Ghandhara Industries Limited (GHNI) revealed its ambition to achieve around 6,000 unit sales across its commercial vehicle portfolio in the upcoming fiscal year 27.
