2027: DLA presidential candidate vows to contest despite party crisis

Moses Adebisi, the Democratic Leadership Alliance's 2027 presidential candidate, has stated his commitment to run despite internal disagreements within the party. Adebisi highlighted his political journey, which began with the formation of the Nigerian Liberty Movement in 2017, with the aim of mobilizing Nigerians and developing a new generation of political leaders.

He joined the DLA following deliberations with its leadership and after unsuccessful attempts to gain recognition from the Independent National Electoral Commission and a ruling against the party in court. Differences over the party's leadership structure, internal organization, and coordination of the presidential campaign led to a cessation of political coordination and the departure of some party members.

Despite these challenges, Adebisi remains resolute in his commitment to the "Agenda of Total Liberation for the Nigerian People," emphasizing his focus on human dignity, purposeful leadership, and meaningful political participation among young Nigerians.
