Wiz pitcher Allen taking role changes in stride: 'I am ready to do whatever team needs'

Suwon — Logan Allen, the starting pitcher of KT Wiz, has proven his adaptability by seamlessly transitioning between starting and relief pitching roles during the Korea Baseball Organization's (KBO) regular season. As the team entered the Korean Series, Allen was called upon to fill the left-handed bullpen void against Samsung Lions' left-handed hitters. Despite an uncertain first outing in relief, Allen has since returned to the rotation, set to take the mound in Game 4 on Saturday.

Allen, a pitcher well-versed in both starting and relief pitching in the United States, expressed no concerns about his role changes. "I have done both in the U.S., in the big leagues and minor leagues. I have done everything and I have felt comfortable," he stated before Game 2 at KT Wiz Park in Suwon. Allen emphasized his fast recovery and adaptability, stating that he is ready to pitch whenever the team requires him. If called upon to start Game 4, Allen is confident in his ability to deliver.
