US Election: ‘Americans sent clear message’ – Obama breaks reacts as Democrats defeat Trump’s Republicans

Former United States President Barack Obama expressed his reaction to the recent Democratic Party's triumph over President Donald Trump's Republican Party in the recent midterm elections. In a post on his X account, Obama highlighted that the election results mirrored Americans' preference for leaders who emphasize unity, practical solutions, and public service over division.

He extended his congratulations to Democratic candidates who managed to secure victories, even in regions typically held by Republicans. Obama pointed out that the Democrats' success was due to candidates from varied backgrounds who were dedicated to representing their constituents and serving the public. "The American people sent a clear message," said Obama, "they want a politics that brings people together rather than dividing them, and leaders who offer tangible solutions to the challenges they face."

According to a report by the DAILY POST, Democrats secured control over both the House of Representatives and the Senate during the Tuesday's midterm elections, a significant setback for Trump's administration. Despite this, Trump had previously congratulated the Democrats on their victory but insisted that the outcome did not signify Americans' rejection of his leadership.

He attributed the Republican losses to Americans' reluctance to accept higher gas prices amidst the ongoing Iran war.
