RB Leipzig will welcome Manchester City to the Red Bull Arena for a UEFA Champions League clash on Wednesday night. Former Manchester City defender Martin Demichelis will lead RB Leipzig against the Citizens. The teams have faced each other six times previously, with 30 goals scored in total, averaging five goals per game. RB Leipzig recently conceded inside the opening 15 minutes against Brighton, while Manchester City fell to a 1-0 defeat against Brighton in the Premier League.

City are desperate to return to winning ways in their next Premier League match at Nottingham Forest, but must first focus on their Champions League fixture against Leipzig, where they have accumulated six points from their opening three League Phase fixtures. The Citizens have conceded 12 goals in their last six matches and are vulnerable at the back, providing Leipzig with optimism. However, RB Leipzig's manager, Enzo Maresca, is expected to lead his side to a six-goal thriller.
