On November 4, 2026, former Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel confronted Fox News hosts Brian Kilmeade, Ainsley Earhardt, and Lawrence Jones during a segment on "Fox & Friends" regarding the rise of antisemitism in America. Emanuel stated, "My faith is not your problem," asserting that the Democratic Party's victory in the midterm elections was a "repudiation of President Trump, Project 2025 and Republicans."
When Kilmeade inquired about "anti-Israeli sentiment" and antisemitism within the Democratic Party, Emanuel responded, "My faith is not your problem. The fact that Americans across the country have lost faith in America and lost faith in themselves — that’s our problem. That’s what we should work on as a country." Emanuel also mentioned that he has faced numerous instances of antisemitism throughout his political career, and criticized the notion that antisemitism is "a party problem."
When Jones attempted to clarify the issue, Emanuel interrupted, saying, "With all due respect, I’m not taking a lecture from any of you on antisemitism." The discussion was cut short as the hosts went to a commercial break.
