Fintech giant Pine Labs has teamed up with Stripe, a leading global payments infrastructure provider, to create a unified payment solution for eligible retailers in Singapore. This new platform enables these merchants to manage both online and in-store payments through a single system, starting this month.
The collaboration combines Stripe's online payment functionalities with Pine Labs' payment terminals and merchant commerce tools. By integrating both services, retailers selling through physical stores and digital channels will no longer have to deal with separate providers, simplifying reporting and reconciliation while reducing operational costs.
In addition to basic payment acceptance, participating retailers will have access to Pine Labs' installment plans from multiple issuers, loyalty-linked payments, pay-by-points options, merchant-funded promotions, and digital marketing tools. The companies will present this innovative solution at the upcoming Singapore Fintech Festival 2026.
This partnership aligns with Pine Labs' ongoing efforts to expand its merchant payments and commerce business internationally. As of Q2 FY27, Pine Labs served 11.6 lakh merchants and operated in over 22 markets, with a 13% year-over-year increase in merchant count. The company's offerings include merchant payments, payment orchestration, issuing, prepaid instruments, and credit infrastructure, all bolstered by recent acquisitions.
In June 2025, Pine Labs successfully merged its Singapore holding company with its Indian entity and listed on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) and National Stock Exchange (NSE) at ₹242 each, marking a 9.5% premium to the issue price. In terms of financial performance, Pine Labs reported a net profit of ₹38.6 crore in Q2 FY27, up sixfold from ₹6 crore in the same quarter the previous year.
Operating revenue also grew by 24% year-over-year to ₹806.2 crore. As of 14:45 IST, Pine Labs' shares were trading 1.15% higher at ₹157.70 apiece on the BSE.
