Lahore to Get 3 Modern Technical Training Centers Worth Billions

The Punjab Provincial Development Working Party has approved three significant projects worth more than Rs. 2.94 billion each to establish cutting-edge technical training centers in Lahore's Shahdara district. These proposed facilities will offer young individuals hands-on training in advanced automotive technologies, contemporary woodworking methods, and construction sector expertise.

Traditional apprenticeships under carpenters, masons, and auto mechanics will be surpassed by these modern training opportunities. The primary objective is to enhance employment prospects and income potential for young people by providing them with advanced technical skills that could lead to earnings of hundreds of thousands of rupees.

The total estimated cost of the three initiatives is over Rs. 2.94 billion, with Rs. 566 million allocated from the current fiscal year's budget. The Punjab Finance Department has been instructed to disburse funds for the approved projects.
