La Liga: Madrid confident of signing Man United wonderkid JJ Gabriel

Real Madrid are reportedly confident of signing Manchester United's 16-year-old forward JJ Gabriel, who has been linked with a move away from Old Trafford. The teenager, who has not returned to United since walking out in September, has reportedly been training solo in Spain and is considering his future options. Gabriel, who impressed during Manchester United's pre-season tour, was also named the Premier League Under-18 Player of the Season in the previous campaign.

Manchester United would be entitled to compensation from Gabriel's move, though it may be lower if he joins a club outside the Premier League.
