Kochetkov suffers first loss as Predators down Hurricanes 4-1
As tends to happen when the opponent is Nashville, the Canes got Saros’d
Nashville Predators secured a 4-1 victory over the Carolina Hurricanes on November 3, 2026, marking Pyotr Kochetkov's first loss as a Predator. The Predators' goaltender, Juuse Saros, delivered a stellar performance by making 29 saves, while Carolina's Kochetkov managed just 16. Early in the first period, Nick Perbix scored for Nashville after Filip Forsberg fed him a perfect pass.
Roman Josi then extended the Predators' lead to 2-0 with a well-placed pass to Roman Josi, who then passed it back to Blake, who deflected the puck past Kochetkov. Despite Carolina's efforts, they couldn't match the Predators' offensive output in the final periods, suffering a loss that drops their season record to 12-3-2.
