How to download your NIN slip free — NIMC

The National Identity Management Commission (NIMC) has outlined the simple steps Nigerians can follow to download their National Identification Number (NIN) slip online for free, using the NINAuth mobile application. In a video shared on its official X account, the commission explained that the process requires users to first download the NINAuth app from either the Google Play Store or Apple App Store.

Once installed, users open the application on their mobile devices and tap on "Do More with NINAuth," then select "NIN Slip" from the provided options. To authenticate their identity, users complete a facial verification process. Upon successful verification, they can click on "Download NIN Slip" to save the official NIMC-issued slip directly to their mobile phones.

NIMC emphasized that the service is free, convenient, and only takes a few taps to complete, and that it aims to reduce the need for physical visits to its enrollment centers.
