High school football: 3A/2A semifinal previews
Richfield and Morgan are set to face off in the 3A Semifinals, with the Wildcats seeking to bounce back from their loss to Grantsville last season. Morgan, on the other hand, enters the game confident after a dominant performance in their quarterfinal. Colton White leads the way for Richfield, rushing for over 1,300 yards and throwing for 1,000 yards.
Morgan relies on their star player, George Thurston, who has amassed 1,019 receiving yards and 19 touchdowns. The defense for both teams has been a major factor in their success, with Richfield allowing only 11.8 points per game and Morgan ranking second in scoring defense. The winner will face the Logan-Juab winner for the 3A championship title.
