Defamation on Social Media: Raise Compensation to Levels that Reflect Severity of Harm
If people who have been forced to endure suffering after being defamed on social media are unable to obtain adequate compensation in court, they cannot be said to have been provided with relief. Compensation amounts need to be raised to levels commensurate with the severity of the harm.
