Champion Breweries grows revenue to N51.4bn

Champion Breweries Plc reported a substantial 140% increase in revenue to N51.4 billion over the nine months ending September 30, 2026. This growth was primarily attributed to the consolidation of enJOYbev B.V., despite a decline in sales volumes within the company's standalone brewery business. Operating profit experienced a 48% increase, reaching N6.3 billion, while profit after tax rose to N2.18 billion.

The company's success is credited to disciplined pricing, optimal product mix, and strategic initiatives, which have helped maintain profitability in a challenging consumer demand environment. The acquisition of enJOYbev has diversified the company's operations into new product categories and brands, reducing reliance on a single segment and enabling shared distribution and growth across new markets.
