CelcomDigi Announces 15-Day Umrah Roaming Pass With 100GB High-Speed Data

CelcomDigi has unveiled a new 15-day Umrah Roaming Pass designed to keep pilgrims connected during their travels. This offering is similar to the Hajj Roaming Pass and provides high-speed data, voice calls, and regional roaming coverage in a single package. The pass costs RM100 and is valid for 15 days, covering Saudi Arabia and neighboring countries such as the UAE, Qatar, Turkey, Oman, and Kuwait. During stops in Saudi Arabia, users will be serviced by Zain, Mobily, and STC.

Once activated, the pass grants unlimited data usage with the first 100GB offered at high-speed. After the 100GB limit is reached, speeds will be reduced to 1Mbps. Customers who require more high-speed data can purchase additional 5GB for RM10, which is only valid for 24 hours. Additionally, users can enjoy unlimited free incoming calls from Malaysia and 30 minutes of outgoing calls within and outside the country they are roaming in.

Non-prepaid and non-postpaid customers can obtain the Umrah Roaming Pass through the CelcomDigi app, while pre-existing prepaid and postpaid subscribers can purchase it from the app up to 14 days before departure. Alternatively, newcomers and non-users can buy the CelcomDigi 15-Day Unlimited Umrah Pack or eSIM from the telco's online and physical stores as well as authorized dealers. A one-time RM5 SIM activation fee applies. For further information, the official website updates will be regularly posted.
