Bernie Sanders hails ‘progressive victories’ across the US

Independent Democratic Senator Bernie Sanders expressed joy over several progressive triumphs across the United States during the recent midterm elections. The Vermont senator congratulated numerous candidates he had supported, many of whom campaigned on anti-war and pro-Palestinian platforms. Sanders highlighted the significance of these victories in his X post, stating that they represented a resounding rejection of oligarchy in favor of a working-class agenda.

Notable wins included those of Michigan Senator Abdul El-Sayed, US House representatives Will Lawrence, Adam Hamawy, and Melat Kiros, along with several other progressive legislators from various states. Sanders' message of celebration and support for these "progressive victories" echoed across the nation, with Americans in both urban and rural areas expressing their dissatisfaction with the status quo and their desire for a more equitable society.
