Barcelona are set to welcome versatile star Eric Garcia back for Sunday's La Liga match against Atletico Madrid, with the defender making good progress following a muscle injury. Carlos Monfort has confirmed that Garcia has resumed training with the squad and is increasingly confident after several days of working with the ball.
If there are no further setbacks, he should be fit to face Hansi Flick's team. In contrast, French defender Jules Kounde remains a doubt for the clash, as he has yet to return to group training. Andreas Christensen is expected to resume regular training, providing Barcelona with an additional defensive option ahead of their trip to the Metropolitano.
