“Absolutely Ridiculous Not to Have Jared Goff Here”: Lions Fans Call Out Dave Portnoy Over “Beyond Laughable” QB Rankings
Jared Goff is statistically one of the best quarterbacks in the league at the moment. He’s seventh in passing yards this season (1,964), tied for fifth in touchdown passes (15) and tied for second in interceptions (one).
The Detroit Lions' quarterback, Jared Goff, is currently holding his own among the league's best. He has amassed a total of 1,964 passing yards, ranks fifth in touchdown passes with 15, and is second from the bottom in interceptions with only one. However, it appears Jared Goff has been overlooked in Dave Portnoy's recently updated NFL quarterback rankings.
The sports commentator, famous for his "Big Brain Updated NFL Qb Power Rankings," has placed Goff in no position at all. Lions fans took to social media in outrage, expressing disbelief at Goff's absence from the list. One fan asserted, "Absolutely ridiculous not to have Goff here." In a recent press conference, Goff addressed the team's challenges this season, particularly concerning the health of the roster.
He specifically discussed linebacker Jack Campbell's recent injury, which occurred during the Lions' game against the Minnesota Vikings. Goff expressed concern over Campbell's neck injury, saying, "The positive updates are great, and we know things are heading in the right direction, and we’re hoping for the best for him."
