The Sindh government has announced plans to extend the Sundar STEM initiative to the entire province, opening enrollment for private school students in the Virtual STEM School. The Directorate of Inspection and Registration of Private Institutions in Sindh has issued a circular to all regions, including Karachi, inviting private schools to participate.
Free training will be provided in mathematics problem-solving, computer programming, and the English language at the Virtual STEM School. Notably, nine districts within the Hyderabad region have already seen talented students enroll on the Sundar STEM platform, with Hyderabad students also excelling at the National Mathematics Contest in Lahore.
The Director of School Education (Secondary) in Hyderabad has been appointed to serve as the focal point for the initiative. Authorities are urging private school administrators and principals to register their top students in the Virtual STEM School.
