NPFL: Inter Lagos coach Olutayo to ring changes amid club's poor form

Inter Lagos' interim head coach, Olusanjo Olutayo, is set to make personnel adjustments due to the team's struggling performance in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL). The club has only secured one victory in their inaugural season of the league. Over the past seven matches, Inter Lagos remains winless, sitting at the bottom of the table with a meager six points.

Olutayo is known for his high-intensity approach and expects the same from his players. He expressed his disdain for timid individuals, stating, "I don't like players who are scared. If I have cowards in my team, which I think we don't, but if we do, we will weed them out." It is anticipated that the coach will eliminate players who lack the ability to recall essential information about the team.

Olutayo emphasized the importance of players who can manage information effectively. He stated, "We will weed out cowards, soft players and players who can't recollect information from the team." The NPFL serves as the premier football league in Nigeria, and Olutayo is committed to working with players who possess the necessary skills. However, if the current roster lacks such players, he believes there will be a problem.

Inter Lagos will take on Ikorodu City in a crucial match on matchday 12, set to take place this weekend in Lagos.
