Samsung Lions manager Park Jin-man expressed confidence on Tuesday that the team's momentum would carry them through the Korean baseball championship round against the KT Wiz. The Wiz, due to finishing atop the Korea Baseball Organization (KBO) regular season, earned a bye into the Korean Series, with no games played since their last regular-season match on October 12.
Meanwhile, the Lions, who placed second in the regular season, had a thrilling five-game series win against the Kia Tigers, with the decisive fifth game concluding on Sunday. The Lions commenced their Korean Series the following day, with just one day of rest under their belts. Despite the limited recuperation time, Park maintained a positive outlook, stating that his team feels great after securing the clinching game.
Park further believes that this momentum will sustain them, as they will face their opponent almost immediately.
