LEGO Godzilla Announced, Releases on Black Friday

LEGO has revealed its latest major release for Black Friday, LEGO Godzilla, a 5,363-piece set that will set users back $449.99. This towering gray-and-blue creation, based on the Monsterverse's Godzilla, stands an impressive 27.5 inches tall. The set offers multiple pose options and includes a free LEGO Godzilla Logo & Footprint set for purchase between November 27-30.

Fitting its imposing stature, Godzilla's skin is composed of numerous overlapping gray bricks, some smooth and others with "greebling" details for a scaly effect. Jagged, detailed blue dorsal fins complete the monstrous look. Once completed, users can adjust Godzilla's tail position, move its head, arms, wrists, and fingers, and add a blue Heat Ray or tongue to enhance its destructive appearance.

Created through the LEGO Ideas line, where fans submit designs for official release consideration, LEGO Godzilla was authorized by professional designers after gathering 10,000 votes. The set will be available exclusively at the LEGO Store starting at midnight on November 27, so early buyers are encouraged to secure their copy while supplies last.
