Kentucky-Manhattan score today, UK basketball live updates

Tonight's Kentucky vs. Manhattan basketball game at Rupp Arena promises to be a high-profile matchup. UK, as ranked 23rd in the USA TODAY Sports Coaches Poll and the Associated Press Top 25, enters the 2026-27 season as the favorites. Meanwhile, Manhattan, which hasn't made the NCAA Tournament in over a decade, is expected to finish 10th in the 13-team Metro Conference.

The main focus for tonight's tipoff, however, will not be on the court but rather on Kentucky junior guard Kam Williams. Williams suffered a setback after returning from a foot injury in January, preventing him from taking the floor in any of the team's preseason events. UK coach Mark Pope emphasized that there's no reason to believe Williams' status will change before the game, stating that they are operating with extreme caution.

For Williams, it will be a day-to-day situation, and they will require every light to be green before allowing him to step onto the court.

As for the rest of the Wildcats, the Courier Journal will provide live updates, scores, and highlights throughout the game. The game will be streamed live on SEC Network+, accessible via TV-connected devices or the WatchESPN.com website, app, or ESPN+. Noah Frary will provide play-by-play, Jon Hood will serve as analyst, and Michelle Knezovic will be on the sideline.
