Jon Stewart roasts Trumps pre-midterms Reflecting Pool speech
Jon Stewart recapped Donald Trump's speech about the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool, prior to the midterm elections.
As the midterms approached, Donald Trump's focus seemed to be on a rather unconventional topic - the restoration of the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool. In one of his final speeches, the president spent a significant amount of time discussing the pool, describing it as "a massive piece of...er, pool," according to Jon Stewart's commentary on the Daily Show.
It is clear, Stewart emphasized, that this was not an instance of artificial intelligence or any form of intelligent discourse. Instead, it was the President of the United States on the eve of the midterms, delivering a speech that was essentially about the maintenance of the Reflecting Pool. To put it simply, it was Donald Trump's "I had it cleaned" speech.
