Ghanaian music sensation DaboyKenzi has recently dropped his debut EP titled 'S.O.W (Sounds of Wavy)'. Known for his distinctive style, the 'Chaos' artist has crafted a four-track project that showcases his unique sound. This EP, which expands DaboyKenzi's discography, takes listeners on an experimental, laid-back journey that is, as expected, effortlessly cool.
The EP begins with 'Sabali (Intro)', a track that starts with slow, welcoming drums and quickly draws listeners into a meditative atmosphere. This sets the relaxed tone that permeates the rest of the EP. The journey continues with 'Dear Most High', a track that carries spiritual undertones, further solidifying the mood intended by DaboyKenzi.
However, the EP's true highlight arrives with 'OdoLastic'. This track marks a peak in the project, thanks to DaboyKenzi's captivating melodies and an EDM-inspired backdrop that is simply addictive. It is a fun piece that showcases his adventurous spirit, making the final track, 'Questions', feel somewhat subdued by comparison. Here, DaboyKenzi expresses his affection directly, creating a track that feels closer to his established style.
Overall, 'S.O.W (Sounds of Wavy)' demonstrates the promise of this rising Ghanaian artist. While it carries an almost experimental quality, it remains polished enough to feel fully realized. The EP is now available for streaming and download on all major digital platforms via https://rainlabs.lnk.to/SOW.
