Chris Finch reveals why the Timberwolves would be ‘lost’ without Jonathan Kuminga

After a hard-fought victory over the Milwaukee Bucks, Timberwolves head coach Chris Finch praised newly acquired forward Jonathan Kuminga for playing the "perfect role." Finch mentioned that Kuminga made a point to aggressively pursue rebounds in the second quarter, which was crucial for the team. Despite scoring just eight points in the game, Kuminga grabbed 10 boards and blocked four shots.

Coach Finch noted that Kuminga is playing to his strengths, defending at a high level and shooting from the corner. Although Kuminga has yet to showcase his once-promised shot-creating abilities, he has been productive offensively, particularly from long-range, with a 47 percent three-point shooting average in his first eight games with the team.

Kuminga expressed his commitment to helping the team by playing defense, creating scoring opportunities, and getting easy points for his teammates. With the Timberwolves struggling to replace the recently traded Anthony Edwards, it is evident that coach Finch believes Kuminga is an invaluable asset for the team at this point.
