Charlotte Adigéry and Bolis Pupul Line Up New Album and Tour
Watch the acrobatic “From Healer to Dealer” video from Topical Dancer follow-up Mainland Madinina
Belgian duo Charlotte Adigéry and Bolis Pupul, known for their art-pop style, have announced their upcoming album Mainland Madinina, set to release early next year. The album was written collaboratively in Ghent and Martinique, the motherland of Adigéry's mother, following both artists becoming parents and Adigéry losing her mother.
Soulwax, who mentored and co-produced their previous album Topical Dancer, is once again involved in this new project. Their latest single, "From Healer To Dealer," is an eight-and-a-half-minute dance-pop track featuring two narcissistic characters conversing in buzzwords. The music video for this single was directed by Lennert Madou and stars dancers Emmanuelle Mfulu and Mathias Goethals. Mainland Madinina will be available on 2/5 via DeeWee/Because Music.
