Breaking: Ciaron Maher takes Melbourne Cup trifecta with Point of Law win
Ciaron Maher takes the Melbourne Cup trifecta as Point of Law wins at Flemington after an incredible front-running effort from Royal Supremacy.
On Tuesday, Ethan Brown guided Point Of Law to a stunning victory in the Melbourne Cup, overtaking frontrunner Royal Supremacy in the final stretch. This was the horse's sixth race start, having been formerly owned by King Charles III. In an impressive finish, Point Of Law claimed the top spot, with Zahrann coming in second and Juja Kibo securing third place.
This triumvirate of winners was achieved under the guidance of trainer Ciaron Maher, whose stable had seven competitors among the 23 entrants at the Flemington racecourse.
