In this exclusive clip from Small Prophets , perhaps the real alchemy has always been the friends we made along the way.
The Small Prophets season finale on Apple TV unveils an unexpected connection, a heartwarming revelation amidst a tale of loneliness, unresolved grief, and magic. Following the first season, which has already been renewed for a second, the eccentric comedy explores timeless truths of the human condition through the lens of a hardware store employee (Pearce Quigley) dabbling in medieval alchemy to find answers about his missing girlfriend.
The series finds extraordinary in the everyday, as evidenced by the exclusive clip from the finale. Here, we witness two lonely individuals, Elliot and Kasey, finding solace in each other's company, a silent yet poignant affirmation of their shared humanity. Despite Elliot being a recurring figure in the background of Kasey's life, it is he who breaks his own cycle of isolation, connecting with his neighbor over their mutual love for the band Modest Mouse.
This unexpected bond, set to a killer backing track, encapsulates the essence of what makes Small Prophets so special. The season finale airs on November 4th.
