3 Burning Questions Ahead Of The Inner Circle 37 And ONE Fight Night 49
Here's what hangs in the balance in these epic martial arts events in Bangkok.
As the Inner Circle 37 and ONE Fight Night 49 prepare to take place at Bangkok's Lumpinee Stadium, three burning questions loom over the event. The lightweight division's future hangs in the balance, with Christian "The Warrior" Lee's impressive record and Tye Ruotolo's recent success casting a shadow over the upcoming bouts. Can any of these lightweights emerge victorious and secure a spot at the top of the division?
In addition to the divisional uncertainty, the weekend's card features three high-stakes sequels to previous fights. The bantamweight Muay Thai duel from February 2024, pitting Yodphupa Petkiatpet against Komawut FA Group, saw Komawut earn a split decision victory. Meanwhile, the Muay Thai rematch between Kongthoranee Sor Sommai and Taiki "Silent Sniper" Naito is set to heat up, with a new rulebook in place to add an extra layer of complexity to the fight.
Finally, the clash between Christian Lee and Tye Ruotolo looms large, with the winner likely to secure a shot at the ONE Welterweight Submission Grappling World Championship.
