Representatives of Turkish energy companies will visit Ukraine next week to develop joint projects.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced that Turkish energy companies will visit Ukraine next week, according to an interview with CNN Türk. He expressed optimism about developing joint energy projects and commitments with Turkey. Zelensky emphasized that Ukraine welcomes Turkish business in all sectors and confirmed that business representatives from both nations engaged in productive discussions during a recent forum in Istanbul.
In addition to energy, the two countries are exploring cooperation in the defense industry. The Free Trade Agreement, which went into effect on October 1, is expected to bring new opportunities for Ukrainian and Turkish businesses. Just a week prior, Zelensky met with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan in Istanbul, where they discussed further strengthening their economic ties.
