Will Creed Humphrey play today? Status update for Chiefs OL in Week 8
Will Chiefs OL Creed Humphrey take the field to face the Broncos today in Week 8? Here's the latest update on Humphrey's status:
Creed Humphrey, the star center for the Kansas City Chiefs, was listed on the injury report ahead of their Week 8 game against the Denver Broncos. The fanbase is left wondering if Humphrey will take to the field in today's matchup at Empower Field.
Reports indicate that Humphrey is dealing with a toe injury, but it hasn't prevented him from fully participating in the Chiefs' practice sessions this week. The team has not assigned Humphrey a game status for this week, suggesting he will not miss any time due to his toe injury.
If Humphrey were to aggravate his toe injury during the game, third-year offensive lineman Hunter Nourzad would likely step in as the center on the starting offensive line. This situation is a potential shakeup for the Chiefs' offensive line, especially with four-time Pro Bowler Humphrey being a key player.
