UAlbany basketball's Fall looks to deliver on promise after injury-shortened season
Abdoulaye Fall was expected to play a big role for the Great Danes in 2025-26, but his season ultimately lasted just seven games.
UAlbany junior college transfer Abdoulaye Fall played only seven games during the 2025-26 season due to a knee injury. With the team now preparing for the 2026-27 season, Fall is expected to be a key contributor, though he may initially have restrictions on his playing time. Coach Dwayne Killings is focusing on getting Fall and fellow wing Pedro Santos healthy before the Great Danes' next games.
Fall, who averaged 9.6 points and 3.3 rebounds per game last season, has impressed with his efficiency and versatility, making him a valuable asset for the team.
