‘Tersasar dari fakta’, pemimpin PKR minta setiausaha akhbar KKDW rujuk hansard

Iman Haziq, the PKR Youth Selangor Chief, responded to media questions regarding KKDW's overcommitment by urging them to refer to the Hansard and report on the facts. According to the Hansard, the media claims about KKDW's overcommitment appear to be based on inaccurate information. Iman advocated for Amel Fadzmel to reconsider his statements before bringing the issue to Melaka, where elections are taking place.

Iman also emphasized that there are limitations to every matter, including expenditures. Therefore, we have a budget set by the Prime Minister each year. If any ministry exceeds its budget, that's the outcome. Do not suddenly use your own misgivings as campaign issues while rejecting the truth and facts. The Minister of Domestic and Rural Development (KKDW) and the Finance Minister (MoF) must discuss this matter thoroughly to resolve it for everyone's benefit.

Amel claimed that MoF never issued an order to cancel the highway project, but only delayed the new contract to avoid further payment to the contractor. In fact, this delay occurred because the cost of highway development exceeded the original parliamentary appropriations since 2022, causing an increase in contract commitments and delayed payments to contractors.
