Heidi Klum, the renowned "Queen of Halloween," has revealed her most gruesome costume yet for this year's celebration. The German model, 53, donned a life-sized severed hand adorned with red nails, gold rings, and a bloody wrist. Klum unveiled the chilling creation on Instagram, writing "TALK TO THE HAND" to her followers. The costume was worn at her 25th annual Halloween party, held at Cathédrale in New York City on Saturday, October 31.

The prosthetic hand was modeled after Klum's own left hand, according to German outlet Joyn. It was so large that she had to be transported to the party in a small truck. Her daughter, Leni, cleverly added her own wedding ring to the hand's jewelry. The costume was the brainchild of Klum's longtime collaborator, Mike Marino, the prosthetic designer behind Prosthetic Renaissance. Marino confirmed that the costume was one of the most elaborate his team had ever made.

Klum had been teasing the costume over the past week, with hints surfacing on Instagram. In September, she had stated that the costume would be "very, very bloody." On October 24, she posted a close-up of colorful prosthetics, teasing fans with the final reveal just a week away. Klum had been planning the costume for over a year, and the idea originated shortly before last Halloween.

The Halloween bash was attended by numerous celebrities, including Sofia Vergara, Taylor Momsen, Kyle MacLachlan, and Lindsey Vonn. Klum's daughter, Leni, appeared as Miss Piggy, donning a purple feather boa, pearls, and a pink snout. Klum's husband, Tokio Hotel guitarist Tom Kaulitz, was unable to attend due to a band concert in Hamburg on November 1. In a playful jab, Klum joked that her husband could have been the other hand in a couple's costume.
