Social media can help voters check on us, says candidate
Azman Abidin, the Pakatan Harapan candidate for the Paya Rumput seat in Melaka, says voters could check on the track record of all three newcomers contesting the seat.
Paya Rumput candidate Azman Abidin asserts that social media empowers voters to evaluate the qualifications and experience of election contenders, including fresh faces, before casting their ballots, according to a recent interview with residents at a local warong. The Pakatan Harapan candidate for the Melaka state assembly seat pointed out that voters could scrutinize the backgrounds and capabilities of all three challengers running for the seat in the upcoming Melaka state election.
"With this insight, voters can make informed decisions," said Azman, who is also the political secretary to Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim. Following a community outreach event in Taman Paya Rumput Permai, Azman expressed gratitude for the favorable reception from residents. He anticipates that this positive feedback will translate into a victory for him on polling day, scheduled for November 14.
