On Sunday, Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Deputy Prime Minister, unveiled three initiatives aimed at enhancing the city's tourism competitiveness and solidifying its status as one of the world's top three tourist destinations. The initiatives focus on creating a citywide tourism loyalty programme, simplifying tourist visa applications, and developing an integrated digital platform that provides visitors with convenient access to information and government services.
The city-wide tourism loyalty programme will reward frequent visitors with exclusive benefits and offers across Dubai, encouraging repeat visits and reinforcing Dubai's appeal as a preferred international destination. The second initiative streamlines the visa application process by allowing tourists to apply directly through the Visit Dubai platform, with both single-entry and multiple-entry visa options available.
Finally, an integrated digital platform will consolidate the information and services needed by visitors into one easy-to-access location, alongside government services like tourist visa applications, to simplify travel planning and elevate the overall visitor experience.
