On way to Ramlila Ground, Rahul Gandhi says ‘BJP forcibly shut shops at Connaught Place’

On his journey to the Ramlila Ground, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi alleged that the BJP forced the closure of shops at Delhi's Connaught Place, situated approximately 2.5 kilometers from the Ramlila Maidan where the INDIA bloc is holding its protest. Sharing a video on X, Gandhi expressed his dismay, stating, "We told everyone that when you come here for the march and the mega rally, buy things, do some shopping.

But, while coming to Connaught Place here, we found out that the BJP has forcibly shut down every single shop." He directly blamed the saffron party, demanding accountability for the economic loss suffered by traders.
