Lazio pull clear at Serie A summit as Gattuso warns of vertigo

Gennaro Gattuso's Lazio secured their top spot in Serie A on Sunday, following a 2-1 victory over Cagliari. The game saw M Bala Nzola score for Cagliari in the 20th minute, before Gustav Isaksen and Andrea Pinamonti netted for Lazio in either half. With 28 points from 10 games, Lazio moved three points clear of Inter Milan, who lost the Milan derby.

Unbeaten Roma are third with 24 points, and Como regained fourth place with a 1-0 win over Venezia. Lazio's coach, Gattuso, expressed modest ambitions, stating their target is to avoid relegation and they need 12 more points. Some Lazio fans boycotted the match due to the team's poor investment. Como also won at home against Venezia, their fifth consecutive victory in all competitions.
