Lamine Yamal, Raphinha help Barcelona hammer Alaves to retain Liga top spot
Yamal and Raphinha score two goals each as Barcelona recover from last week's loss in El Clasico to move back on top.
Barcelona secured a dominant 6-1 victory over Alaves at Camp Nou on Saturday, with four goals coming in the first half alone. Raphinha, Fermin Lopez, Lamine Yamal, and Anthony Gordon all found the back of the net. The home team had lost to Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain earlier in the week, but bounced back strongly. Barcelona now leads La Liga with 30 points, two points ahead of Atletico Madrid, who defeated Levante 2-0 earlier on Saturday.
Real Madrid sits six points behind Barcelona, ahead of their match against Racing Santander on Sunday.
