Joe Burrow's career day puts Bengals QB right at front of NFL MVP conversation
Even with three interceptions, Joe Burrow made an MVP statement on Sunday.
Joe Burrow's exceptional performance on Sunday propelled him to the forefront of the NFL MVP conversation. The Bengals quarterback registered six touchdowns in an overtime victory over the Tennessee Titans, effectively neutralizing three interceptions. While Burrow didn't reach his career-high of 525 yards, his 472 total yards and 6 touchdowns were nothing short of flawless.
This game marked the first time since 1951 that a quarterback achieved at least 450 yards, five passing touchdowns, and one rushing touchdown in a single game. Burrow's season totals stand at 2,115 yards, 20 passing touchdowns, and 6 interceptions. With Josh Allen currently leading the MVP race, Burrow's potential to approach Allen's numbers could significantly shift the conversation ahead of their matchup on Christmas Day.
