Indiana Head Coach Curt Cignetti led his Hoosiers to a thrilling overtime victory against Minnesota, securing a 23-17 win in a Halloween-themed game. The young fans featured by ESPN's cameras on Saturday, October 31th, showcased their enthusiasm as the game progressed. Cignetti, who is known for his memorable catchphrase, "I win, Google me," after leading the Hoosiers to the national championship last season, didn't let his hometown down.
Despite the victory not being as spectacular as fans might have hoped for, it was a much-needed win for Indiana, who are currently 7-1. The game saw standout performances from Lee Beebe Jr., who rushed for 84 yards, and Charlie Becker, who caught for 149 yards and a touchdown, setting him up for a strong presence in the upcoming NFL Draft.
