RCCG General Overseer, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, has clarified that he did not protest against former President Goodluck Jonathan. A viral photograph showed him carrying a placard during a prayer walk, not a political demonstration. Adeboye addressed his supporters in a video, recounting how his actions were misrepresented by critics who called him a wicked man. He stated that he carried the placard as part of a prayer walk at Ebute Metta, as directed by the CAN chairman, and not as a protest against Jonathan.
