Super Eagles defender Calvin Bassey has spoken about Fulham's 1-1 draw against Aston Villa at Villa Park on Saturday. Nicolas Jackson put Aston Villa ahead six minutes before halftime, with Johan Manzambi assisting. Fulham equalized four minutes after the break after an own goal by Zion Suzuki. Bassey expressed satisfaction with Fulham's away performance but acknowledged they had ample opportunities to secure a win.
"A good away performance, we know how hard it is to come here against a team with a lot of quality. I’m proud of the boys, they did well," Bassey said to the club's official website. Fulham now has seven points from their last three league matches.
