Ecomondo 2026, crescono spazio ed espositori

Ecomondo 2026 will be held at the Fiera di Rimini from November 3-6, spanning 170,000 square meters of exhibition space. This year, the event will feature 30 exhibition halls, compared to 29 last year. There will be 1,800 exhibitors, marking an increase from 1,700 in 2025. The exhibition roadshow will also be refreshed this year.

Textile, a new addition to the layout, will debut in Padiglione D2. It aims to become a global reference hub for the entire textile industry during a decisive historical moment for implementing new European sustainability regulations.

Another debut is the Africa Investment Hub, which will welcome African associations and focus on networking and business meetings. This highlights the sector's interest in the continent.

The waste management and valorization area remains central to Ecomondo. It has been expanded and reorganized into four sections: Collection Vehicles & Containers, Street Cleaning & Maintenance, Material Handling & Lifting, and Recycling & Integrated Waste Management.

Another key theme is Sites & Soil Restoration, which covers technologies for site remediation and the management of contaminated sites. This area will be adjacent to Circular & Regenerative Bio-economy, focusing on regenerative economy and bioeconomy with its array of bioproducts and bioplastics.

The Bio-Energy & Agriculture area will explore biogas and biogas technologies. Water Cycle & Blue Economy, a rapidly growing sector, will have five sub-sections: Blue Economy, Trenchless Technologies, Pumps & Flow Control Systems, Water, Wastewater & Sludge Treatment, and Water Supply Systems.

Lastly, the Earth Observation & Environmental Monitoring area will focus on Earth observation, environmental monitoring, biodiversity, and primary agroforestry production. This area will utilize new satellite monitoring technologies and big data AI integration.
